What about so and so

Before I typed the question every nerve in my brain was telling me I wouldn’t get an answer, but I still tried, I still was polite, I still asked even after asking many, many times. Why? Because I see value in this. On the other hand if you didn’t see any value, THEN WHY TELL ME SURE THING YES WE WILL OKAY OKAY OKAY WHEN IN THE END YOU ARE JUST GOING TO FORGET ABOUT IT AND SAY YES AGAIN WHEN THE ISSUE COMES UP? WOULD IT NOT BE EASIER TO SAY NO AND FORGET ABOUT THIS EVER HAPPENING AGAIN?

Don’t want my friendship, it’s fine. Just tell me.

Blue shirt, white tie

This guy is really cool. He’s clever, fit, creative, and has a great sense of humour. Throughout the interview, he gave me insights on things I never would have thought about, impressed me with his business sense. He had creative solutions to common problems in the industry, and had valuable contacts that would have assured success. 

I didn’t hire him, because he wore a blue shirt with a white tie. The kind of blue you see on mineral water bottles, the kind of white that’s so white, it’s blue.

And it was such an atrocious tie.

There comes a time where a man will be tested, when all aspects of his life will tax him severely, when he will find time slipping through his fingers like sand.

It is in this time where he rises above the challenge and meets his foes with sheer strength of will.

There comes a time when a man shall be alone in his suffering, and there is absolutely nobody to turn to.

It is in this time where he turns his problems inwards, in doing so cutting off all possibility of the problem spreading.

There comes a time when a man shall be injusticed.

It is in this time where he enforces retribution.

You only need one thing.

Don’t wait. Don’t wait for things to fall into your lap. If there is anything that is beyond your control, don’t wait for the ball to be in your court. Get out of the court. You will find that there is always somewhere else to go.

It is a paradox. By giving up that which you treasure, you will gain so much more. By not wanting something, you may very well get it. Be careful for the things you want, for they may be the things you are going to lose.

Stay silent. Show no emotion. You only need one thing, and that thing is yourself.
